SONG OF A SIREN

Song of a siren was composed by Magasin 2 / Anders Hultqvist and Staffan Mossenmark for the opening ceremony of Culture Night, Gothenburg, Sweden, 2003.

The concert was performed at Göta älv, in the middle of Gothenburg.
Musicians performed on rooftops and boats and speaker systems then spread both precomposed music and the livemusic.
The boats foghorns sounded together with trumpets, trombones and a soprano sang "Song of a siren" with percussion music.
