Mobile Phone Free Day

The Mossenmark Sound Foundation was launched on June 1st, 2002.

As of June 1st, 2004, the appeal for making June 1st a day free from mobile phone usage is extended to embrace all countries within the European Union.

June 1st has since been established as the yearly recurring Mobile phone Free Day.
June 1st is the day when all mobile phone owners are encouraged to switch off their mobiles in favour of silece - no loud phone conversations, no phone signals...

The Mossenmark Sound Foundation hereby wish to contribute to an enhanced awareness and care of the sound environment we all share, offering one day of aural rest for users as well as for involuntary listeners.
