OZONE I

:: Concert for 24 electronic congratulations cards.

The piece was composed for a choir that never sang, all they did was open and close congratulations cards, this was composed in 24 parts. The titel "OZONE I" is linked between the high frequent sound and the protecting layer in the stratosphere, also called ozone layer.

In spring -92 "Ozone I" had its first performance for electronic congratulations cards by Norrköping Chamber Choir lead by Michael Bruze, Norrköping, Sweden.

A new version of the piece was commissioned in 1993 by the Radio Choir but this time it was performed in 33 parts.
This version had its first performance during the 75 years jubilee conserts of Society of Swedish Composers, Swedish Radio, Stockholm, Sweden.
