CLOSENESS - DISTANCE

Mossenmark composed a piece for four actors in four different parts, with dynamics and rests, four monologues in counterpoint.

The who men and the two women, have a conversation with each other without ever reaching one another and without ever hearing each other.

Mossenmark's text is written as a conversation reflecting on the longing for communication, understandning and love, it shows an often big distance between fellow human beings or partners.

The premiere/first performance took pleace in november 2000 in Växjö, Sweden surrounded by shopping citizens.
