CELLPHONE MEDITATION

"Bombi Bitt and me - A Cellphone Meditation", was a piece for cellphones in four parts.
The piece was commissioned by the festival EXIT99 in Kivik, Sweden where it also had its first performance, by the audience that visited the festival.

The music was built on the sound that you get when a button is pressed on your cellphone, the tone can vary in length, depending on how long the button is pressed.

By reading a column where the letters indicated which button to press the music was soon a fact.

As an example from a part picked up from the book "Bombi Bitt and me" by Fritiof Nilsson "The Pirate".

The numbers specified which button to press, aswell as how many seconds the button is to be pressed.
The numbers between words is NOT to be played, these are seconds of pause.
